Long story short , I have a mate ...........
Nahhh Me , I do not have kids , 40 years old. A life of pathos and chaos.
Said I would never re-marry after 16 years of marriage.
Kids have anger issues due to a shitty angry Dad , but act like angels to me. 5 the boy 8 and 9 the girls.
What is it like to become a step Dad , any horror stories , does the biological Dad , continue to be a cunt , or does he sort his life out and try to be Super Dad and cause problems for the Step Dad.
Any experiences good or bad that you good whoers feel happy to share.

Off topic a bit, but does anyone know what the rule is on being able to know about how your kids are getting on at college?
My ex has told the oldest ones college, shes 16, that they are not to give me any updates or tell me anything about how she is getting on.
From my boys i have heard she isn't going to classes and not putting in the effort etc.
I spoke to the college but they said that they can't discuss it with me but they would speak to my daughter and ask her if they can discuss.
How the fuck can a mother purposely say to a college not to give a dad an update.... the woman is so bitter its ridiculous how she thinks it is in the best interests of the children... just puts more pressure on her.

I have up most respect to any fella who takes on another man's kids..and actually cares about them.
I had a step Dad from the age of 7 and was a diamond.
He and my mother split after only 4 yrs and a child..my brother..later.
But ill always be grateul to him..just for the little things really...teaching me to fish..watching films together.
Kids don't forget.

I never had a step dad I just seemed to have a lot of 'Uncle' Daves, Mikes, Kevs and Steves.
Although I don't think we were really related as they would come and go......

well that is abit late haha, he has the kit's already, but her old man is west ham too so we've said he can support west ham at home, and whoever at his dads!
we went to a shirt signing at lakeside a few months back, he loved it, he calls lanzini his mate, as he spoke to him.... at the time he didn't have a clue who lanzini was!

you say that..... we didn't get our bins collect over christmas until this morning, it was like kent!
apparently he said to her old man, he couldn't handle the pressure of being a dad, even tho he didn't do fuck all, and he didn't like the fact my bird earns money than him, she is a primary school teacher, and at the time she was in her 1st year so was hardly earning shit loads, while we works in a toilet roll factory (still does) and the rest of his family are all on benefits.
i will be truthly honest i have no idea how they even got together in the first place. but that is none of my business, and i will be with her the rest of my life, so the boy will be a big part of that too, so i'll just be there for him when he see's his dad is a nobhead

I'd steer away from any thoughts of buying the kid any West Ham related stuff at the moment, too - he WILL want to wear it on visits to his biological father and that simply won't help - and you'll be in a spot having to explain why he can't, too.
